Enjoy live music and entertainment all day. Experience renowned local dance group, the Djaadjawan dancers perform traditional dances. See local indigenous culture as it relates to seafood, cooking and basketweaving.

We have 3 live music acts on Friday, 6 live music acts during Saturday, playing up to 6pm, heating up to the high energy, rowdy blues act featured in previous years – 19 Twenty. Kicking off the party with a bang, 9 piece powerhouse band Big Boss Groove will get it moving after the Friday fireworks. On both days we also feature highly talented folk & jazz musicians, and solo acoustic performances. Enjoy roving entertainers, free kids rides, vintage cars on display and an unbeatable atmosphere. Not to be missed!

Friday Music Program

Nick Saxon – solo guitar/vocalist out of Newcastle.

Nick Saxon is a true artist. His live performance of dancing guitar, soulful melodies and beautiful story telling lyrics continues to keep his fans traveling from far and wide. His travels with National Geographic Channel as a part time TV presenter have taken him across the globe, inspiring his writing. With over 2 million plays on Spotify, and a song featured on U.S. show “The Walking Dead” is a testament to how deep his talent runs!

Malumba Band

Malumba formed in 1997 in Canberra, Australia. The four band members at the time – Dan Efraemson, Tom Dexter, James Sofo and Chris Thwaite were studying jazz at the Canberra School of Music, ANU. With this line-up they recorded two albums, performed at many venues and festivals around Australia and toured the UK in 2000. They left their bass player James in the U.K. and recruited Sam Martin. After recording their third album, Patterns of Change, the band underwent another line-up change. Guitarist John Hoorweg replaced Tom Dexter, and his brother Colin Hoorweg became the drummer and percussionist. Malumba have since recorded three more albums – The Flow, Step Beyond and The Passage.

James Bennett

James Bennett is a alternative roots/ folk, artist with a variety of influences. No stranger to playing live, James incorporates 12 & six string guitars, weissenborn lap steel, stomp box & harmonica into his performances & has been playing to audiences across the East Coast of Australia for the last seven years.

Smuggled Budgies

Local blues group featuring female singer Tracey Stewart and male singer Peter Dean. Peter Dean, a stand-up comedian and former front man for Joe Cocker and Ray Charles, will play a mean blues harmonica!

19 Twenty

19-Twenty were HANDPICKED by Cold Chisel Management as the only support band to open for Cold Chisel’s first club gig in 30 years and their last as the original line-up in front of 1500 screaming fans, which sold out in 3 minutes!! Festivals played at Lock Stock (London, U.K)Bridgetown Blues (W.A)Sydney Blues Festival (N.S.W)Bulli Folk (N.S.W)Goulburn Blues (N.S.W)Kiama Blues (N.S.W)Broadbeach Blues (Q.L.D)Headstock Guitar festival (N.S.W) Constantly on the road or in the sky, In the past 4 years they have travelled seven times around Oz. Performed at gigs all through Belgium, The Netherlands and France including a host of gigs in London, inc: playing at the famous Alley Cat nightclub in SoHo. Playing anywhere and everywhere this truly 100% Independent act have been blazing through Europe and Australia receiving an amazing and positive reaction.
A 19-Twenty show is something definitely not to be missed. Sliding, Stompin’ Blues songs, Celtic Inspired Dance and soft creative lyrical ballads. GET ROWDY!
