Chef Colin Fassnidge – larrikin, entertainer, chef
Narooma Betta Cooking Demonstration Program on Saturday, May 7 at 1.30pm.
A no-nonsense master of honest fare and a great entertainer, Colin Fassnidge can’t wait to visit Narooma and sample the seafood.
Born in Dublin, the My kitchen Rules star has a string of accolades from Hats to Top 100s for his Sydney restaurants and was trained by the legendary Raymond Blanc. His most recent venture is The Castlereagh, a bistro in the heart of Sydney CBD which opened in Autumn 2022 and follows a string of successes including Banksia Bistro, 4Fourteen (Surry Hills) and The Four in Hand Dining Room (Paddington).
During covid he created a soup kitchen to help venues with left over produce then delved into private dining experiences, online cooking classes and easy recipes shared with a dose of entertainment and laughs.
Colin’s first cookbook ‘Four Kitchens’, is a collection of fine dining and whole animal recipes from the Four In Hand and 4fourteen, with a serve of casual fare from home the bar. His second book The Commonsense Cook is out now.
