Kids aged 16 years and under can continue enjoying free festival entry on Saturday too!

  • 11am: Start the day by joining in the Welcome to Country ceremony led by Muladha Gamara and the Djaadjawan Dancers. It’s a beautiful way to come together and mark the beginning of a day filled with festivities.
  • 10am, 11am and 12pm: Learn to shuck Rock Oysters with the best! Sue, Greg, Mel and the team are excellent teachers – and farmers! Book now. Children aged 10-17 are welcome.
  • 11:30am: Don’t miss the chance to see Australia’s Biggest Oyster! Keep an eye out for the roving farmers before and after the main event and see if we can beat the world record for the heaviest oyster (it’s only 1.5 kilograms!)
  • 12:30pm & 2pm: Get creative and groove to the beat with craft and dance workshops hosted by the talented Poi Pearl Ladies in the Picnic Zone.
  • 10:30am, 12pm, 3pm: Keep an eye out for the Roving Pearl Beauties as they make their way through the festival grounds, spreading joy and excitement wherever they go.
  • 1:30pm: Back by popular demand, join Guru Dudu’s Silent Disco Walking Tour for another round of laughter and dancing.

In addition to these exciting activities, be sure to visit the Yuin Cultural Markets Marquee and Bush Tucker to discover First Nations foods, artworks and crafts. Unleash your inner character in with face painting for a small charge in the Picnic Zone, or hop aboard the Youth Van for some interactive fun.

And of course, don’t forget to explore the waterfront playground and enjoy some playtime on the sandy shores of Wagonga Inlet, especially while the tide is low until mid-afternoon.

Make sure to also wander through the markets, where you’ll find lolly shops, kids’ clothing, toys, and so much more!
