Just 8 kilometres off the coast of Narooma, this protected nature reserve is a vital habitat for seabirds and marine life. More than 90 bird species have been recorded here, and it’s home to one of Australia’s largest colonies of Little Penguins, with around 10,000 nesting pairs.
Choose your adventure – explore the island on a guided walking tour with a National Parks and Wildlife guide, climb the historic 144-year-old lighthouse, snorkel with playful seals, or do both! With over 40 years of experience, Narooma Charters will take you on an unforgettable journey.
Duration is 2.5 to 2.5 hours, depending on which tour you choose. Travel time to the island is approximately 25 minutes. To go ashore, guests must be able to climb a maximum of four rungs on a ladder.
