Be part of Australia’s iconic oyster festival!

Presented by Narooma Rocks, the Narooma Oyster Festival has been celebrating oysters and growers for over 19 years. Now the largest food and drink event in southern regional NSW, the festival also showcases South Coast produce, Yuin Culture and arts.

Whether you’re looking to showcase your oysters, participate in events, or simply network, there are plenty of ways to get involved and connect with new customers, chefs, industry leaders and fellow farmers.

The form below is for oyster farmers and industry participants who wish to enter one of our official Narooma Oyster Festival competitions.

Which competition are you entering?

To be considered for entry to the shucking competition, please complete this form and signed waiver.

Numbers are strictly limited. Entry is not automatic. You will be advised by the Narooma Rock Oyster Shucking Competition Official as to whether your application is accepted.

Entries should be received no later than Friday 24 April 2026.

I/We agree to indemnify and keep indemnified the Narooma Oyster Festival Ltd trading as Narooma Rocks, the competition sponsor (Australia’s Oyster Coast), the competition Judges, the Narooma Oyster Festival Event Manager, Organising Group, Volunteers, and Contractors against all actions, claims, demands, losses, damages, costs and expenses in respect to any loss, damage, accident or injury to any property or person in connection with the occupation of land in the care and control and management of Australian Oyster Opening Competition during the during the event. Provided that such loss or damage does not arise from the negligent act of the Narooma Oyster Festival.
