Presented by Narooma Rocks, the Narooma Oyster Festival is the region’s biggest calendar event.
Now in its 16th year, the Festival celebrates the the oyster, growers, chefs and oyster lovers. Stallholders are a key part of the experience and a way to showcase food and wine products, creations and innovations from the South Coast.
The Festival has a strong following, and last year attracted 10,000 people from the South Coast, Sydney and Canberra each year.
Festival highlights include Australia’s Oyster Shucking Championships and Australia’s Biggest Oyster, Ultimate Oyster Experiences, Oyster Alley, cooking program with celebrated chefs, produce and retail markets, two stages, children’s entertainment, cruises and exclusive dining experiences.
The festival is cashless, please ensure you can provide EFTPOS.
As of November 1, single-use plastics and bioplastics are now banned in New South Wales. This includes single-use plastic straws, stirrers, cutlery, plates, unlidded bowls, cotton buds, as well as food ware and cups made from expanded polystyrene foam (EPS). For more information, please visit the NSW Single-use Plastics Ban website. Eurobodalla Shire Council has small grants available to help cover the costs of transitioning to plastic free catering.
