Mossy Group’s Belinda Dorsett joins chef line-up!

Hyper local, heritage listed & heart warming

Catch Belinda in the Betta Home Living Cooking Demonstration Program at Narooma Oyster Festival on Saturday May 4.

Meet Belinda Dorsett, the culinary visionary behind The Mossy Group, a beloved trio of cafes nestled in a picturesque pocket of the NSW South Coast at Eurobodalla.

Belinda’s journey from passionate home cook to chef began in 2016, with the purchase of a heritage-listed corner cafe in a quiet coastal haven called Mossy Point, which is halfway between Moruya and Batemans Bay.

Inspired by the rise of restaurant-quality cafes, Belinda swapped Canberra for the coast and embarked on a chef’s apprenticeship while creating a welcoming, casual vibe and seasonal, hyper local, all-day brunch menus.

Mossy On Pacific is now a destination in its own right, and since then Belinda and her small team launched the sophisticated and incredibly serene ‘Mossy on Gardens’ set in Eurobodalla Regional Botanic Gardens and a Mossy on Train, a ‘grab and go’ at Broulee.

While she loves crafting new dishes and is working on showcasing sustainable NSW seafood in her festival dish, Belinda still pops up at the front of house, making splendid coffees and chatting to customers.

Entry to the Cooking Program is included in Saturday General Admission.
